Me: says he'll do something, does it in an afternoon
Also me: hasn't made any progress in his writing series since the month started, and it's already halfway
Anyway, here are Daria and Sasha's parents, or at least what we know of them so far

Their mother, Anya Ilyanova, was born in Russia but immigrated with her family to the US after the fall of the Soviet Union. In the US she met a man called Cyrus, who she'd later marry with. Together they ended up having two daughters, but Cyrus left them shortly after Sasha was born, around the time Daria was four. Since then Anya has been providing for her family practically alone, with some occasional financial help from her relatives. Daria hasn't heard from her father since, and honestly she'd rather it stay that way.

Not a lot of info this time, but enough to get by. At least now both their parents are actual characters instead of being offscreen all the time. Hope I can do the same to the other ESL families soon.
