Wow, this was a comic that I wanted to make for a long time

What do you get when you cross a way-too-eager apprentice who has no idea if what she's chanting is a real spell or not, with an actual conduit for magic energy and spellcasting?
THUS THE PHOENIX IS BORN

This little mental exercise is probably non-canon, since (in the ESL setting) when two people fuse all of their thoughts and memories are shared between one another, and this would take the relationship both Janice and Phoebe have to a completely different level than what they have now. But coming up with character fusions is fun, and hopefully Phoenix here will become canon soon.
The combined green-and-orange text boxes look cool and all, but they're a pain to make in Paint
