Hey!
Remember that time several years ago, when I was giving life to those fan Pokemon/Pokémon ideas I had and putting them here?
Yeah, I kinda... had a flashback like two weeks back and decided to completely bring those back

This picture and the next one are remakes of a few really, really old pics I have in my gallery (which I'm not linking here for comparison this time).
And because I'm not bringing any of the old information back, I'll have to write it all down again here. So bewear with me.

Pictured here are the protagonists (player characters) of our adventure, Saul (Shio) and Dulcia (Amai), named after "salt" and "sweet" respectively. I finally settled on good names for them, both their "localized" English versions as well as their "original" Japanese ones. They are both 11 years old, and have just left the town of ??? on their first adventure, a quest to beat the ??? Region League and become the Champion.
They're both good kids, but somewhat reserved. Saul grew up with nearly no friends, and he has learned to take care of himself and be alone most of the time; however, this means he's very reserved and doesn't trust others easily, being rather shy and aloof. On the other hand, Dulcia was spoiled by her rich family into having everything she wanted, with the downside being that she tends to rely too much on others and can't do much for herself, and she comes off as picky and clueless at times.
Eventually, they soften up towards one another and develop as characters. Yay.

These are their designs in the first set of two games (ala Ruby/Sapphire), which reflect both their naming themes and their personalities (I even gave Dulcia a candy and Saul a salt shaker lol)

I'm finally happy with their current designs. The previous ones weren't as good tbh. But I'm proud of them now, especially the Pokéball motifs
It also helped that I switched around Saul's part 1 and part 2 designs lol
