Description And now, after a long wait, here it is, the first chapter of the comic I've been cooking up with gearlordex.deviantart.com/ ! Here you can see his OC Aeron changing into our OC Pearl during school. How will her classmates react to her changes?

Intro: tf-squaresting.deviantart.com/…
Ending: Ending

There will be more chapters to the comic, each featuring one of the female characters from the intro. But right now, the next chapter will be delivered by Gearlordex! So it's your turn now, pal!
You can check out the two OCs featured here in the following links:
Aeron: gearlordex.deviantart.com/art/…
Pearl: tf-squaresting.deviantart.com/…

EDIT: Now with a description of Aeron's curse, as envisioned by Gearlordex!
Aeron Ryans just wants a quiet life. But this young girl is plagued by her curse, which makes her change into the extasic Pearl! This curse shows up seemingly at random, without any observable trigger or warning. When Aeron starts to feel herself changing, she only has minutes until her body is completely transformed into her counterpart's older physique. Pearl is not aware of Aeron's existence, apparently, as she lives her life in her carefree attitude, until Aeron takes over again. This curse, however simple it may be compared to others, is nonetheless troublesome.

My OC Donald Smith has Dissociate Personalities Disorder (better known as Multiple Personalities)
and he physically changes into the personalities. Usually whenever they wanna appear.

Ah, I see. Well, here it's not a case of Pearl wanting to appear, as she's largely unaware that she is someone else's counterpart, but rather the conditions of how the changes occurr are unknown.

Quite the situation for her. Unexpected, but not entirely unknown transformation there for her. Cute work with the shifting qualities of the hair transition too.

Thanks. I had never done anything quite like I did with her hair. I'm glad it's not too crude.

You are welcome. It is certainly highlights a bit of the transformation and present an initial tease on what was happening too her. So say it transition quite nicely for the matters.

Thanks again. BTW, I know Gearlordex, who is also collaborating with me, requested you a story with transformation as a main theme. You did an impressive job, so I must ask you if you're new to transformations or not.

No problem. Yeah, followed stuff from Gearlordex side to see more about Aeron and Ryders here. Not that new to transformation, just haven't entirely been as writing much about it lately. But I design and commission a lot of characters and transformation pieces to with my works.

I see. I too have some experience in writing transformations, like in my two stories from Ellie's Strange Life, though I write it differently than you do. Still, it can get artificial, since it's more like a legend in the comic's description.

Understandable, lots of different ways to convey tales. Though always tricky to get much of an audience at times with a lot more notion to the visual on art on dA. Still wish folks would pay a bit more mind to the author's comment section since got some important and insightful things/information that can be conveyed there too.

I feel you. There are many people favoring my work but too little dare to comment. I would like to know more opinions on my work.

Indeed, helps give some insight feel on how it is conveyed to them.

I once had to explain someone what happened in one particular chapter of the story through the comment section. It felt good knowing that someone had exposed something he/she hadn't understood. Critique is very important.

Indeed, got so much in your head at times. Not always certain you are detailing it out to understand. Sometimes the information is still in your head and just filled in the blanks without realizing it not entirely conveyed.

That happens to me alot, even in real life, incredibly. I guess it's just a matter of rereading what you wrote and rewriting what you think is wrong or unclear.

Yeah, still can slip by from time to time. Just part of the potential pitfalls with the sea of texts in writing.

Oh, the next character I'll approach is actually Yolanda. I won't be posting it soon, however, since I've been very busy. Hopefully, I'll catch a break next month.

Gearlordex [2014-03-31 22:05:20 +0000 UTC]

Nice! I don't really have the skills to use MS paint to have color streaks in hair, so there is practically no way i can top that! i can't even tape together several slides like you do! this is great!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TF-SquareSting In reply to Gearlordex [2014-03-31 22:25:45 +0000 UTC]

Well, the process I used to paint the hair was very crude, but if you want to I can help you with the slides to make a comic strip. I could do a tutorial or something like that.
