Definitely not sure on how to feel about this one. I've corrected some obvious mistakes (like blank spaces) that were made a long time ago. I fixed the hair colors as much as possible, but in some cases you can definitely spot that's not the doll's original hair color.

About the hair: they were supposed to be changing hair colors in a gradient from their first colors to those you see in the end of this strip, but I suck at color gradients and it ended up looking like their hairs were going octopi with all these different unrelated colors so to keep their hair changes normal, I restricted the colors to their first and final shades. In some parts, I left the original shades to hint at the changes being made.

Here's the link to the program I used to make these pictures: pochi.x.fc2.com/k_kisekae2.htm…

-------------------------------

The kids had just arrived at the disco. After relaxing at the beach, spending time with friends at bars or going shopping in the local stores, everyone was willing to spend their first night having fun and dancing until sunrise.

"Hey, that's D- Ellie over there! Hey, Ellie!" a girl's voice cried out between the noise. It belonged to Daria, though she was not quite the person who had spoke.

"Hey Ralph, Daria" Daria met her friends waiting in line. "Ralph, can I borrow your girlfriend for a minute?"

"Sure", answered the boy. "I'll call you when it's our turn to get in, honey. See you soon."

"See you soon, darling" Ellie called out, blushing at the words coming from her mouth. The two girls walked past the corner and into a quiet place, and once they were sure no one was watching them they stared at eachother's eyes. This was the first time they were alone after they had switched bodies, after Ralph had left with Ellie thinking her to be Daria.

The two girls hugged eachother and sighed woefully. This had been one long day for both.

Ellie wanted to tell Daria about what had happened earlier, but before she could speak her friend ran a finger slowly across her cheek. She felt Daria carefully stroking her face, twice or more, attentively looking at her. "Uh, Daria, what are you doing?" she asked, somewhat confused at what was going on.

"No way..." Daria felt her friend's face, which used to belong to herself, and after a while she burst "YES! We're changing back!"

"Whoa, calm down", said Ellie, still not getting what was happening, "what are you talking about?"

Daria proceeded to explain it to her friend, fast due to the excitement but steadily: "Tell me this, I always had a beauty spot under my left eye, right? When we switched bodies, you had my beauty mark under your left eye and now it's gone! It's under my, yours, left eye! Same thing with your cheeks, you always had rosy cheeks, right? When I got your body, you remember me having rosy cheeks, right? Well now you have your cheeks back! Don't you see what's happening? We're changing, Ellie, changing back to who we were!"

Ellie's mind took a moment to understand what her friend was saying and soon she too exploded in joy: "We are?? That's great! Oh dear goodness, thank the Heavens!"

"I know, right?" Daria couldn't contain her excitement.

"And here I was worried we'd be stuck like this forever!" Ellie exclaimed in relief, picking her now smaller friend from the ground. "Just imagine, in a few days we'll be back to normal, maybe in time to enjoy the rest of spring break!"

Daria was a tall girl, and she was not accostumed to being picked up by anyone. "Uh, Ellie, please put me down."

"Oh, sorry, I got a bit carried away." Ellie placed her friend back on the ground and apologized, embarassed at the situation.

"It's OK. Now I don't know how long it will take until we fully change back, and I'm not sure if we're going to change fully back at all. Heck, I'm not even sure if we ARE changing right now, since I'm just taking conclusions here. In any case, as long as we're like this, it doesn't matter if it's for a day, a month or for the rest of our lives, we're going to have to define things."

Daria knew rules were vital for them to survive the whole thing. "We can't tell anything to anyone, or people will think we're crazy. We must try to act as much as eachother as possible, so people can't tell the difference. Oh, and also don't get too involved with Ralph, he may not know anything but he's still my boyfriend."

"I was going to tell you about that", interrupted Ellie, "Ralph was getting too excited with being alone with me but I left him for a while and told him I wasn't feeling well. I only rejoined him to have dinner and get here."

"You did well," assured her friend, "but you don't need to run away from him all the time. Just keep things mild, stick with the walks by the beach and like that."

"Got it. No running, keep it mild." Ellie repeated it to make sure she wouldn't forget. "In any case, we're turning back, yay!"

"Yeah, at least that's a relief." Daria then looked back at the disco. "How about we get back to Ralph and go dance inside until we forget our problems? Hey, we might actually enjoy being one another for a while!"

The girls rejoined Ralph and soon it was their turn to get inside the disco. The three of them had lots of fun on the dancefloor, and while they were inside they almost forgot about it all.

After a long night, a night of an even longer day, the two girls went to their bedroom in the hotel and went to sleep. Daria fell asleep almost instantly, but Ellie was kept awake by her thoughts for a while. None of them were sure if they were in fact changing back, and while they were eachother she would have to act towards Ralph in a way she hadn't acted towards anyone before, and she still would have to avoid his advances. "How am I going to survive this?"
