Bonnie had meant to clean the kitchen earlier, before nightfall. Budgeting her time had never been her strong suit. She should be out in the woods right now. Just because you were working late tonight, she didn't really want to turn at home; that was always messy. She'd learned long ago that keeping a wolf in your house was a bad idea...

  The moon hadn't risen yet, but she could already feel its pull, the blonde hair standing up on the back of her neck and a secondary presence snarling and growling behind the thin veneer of her fading humanity. She felt her fingernails start to grow longer and she swore under her breath, she had meant to organize the pantry, but she'd have to settle for just cleaning off the counter.

  The front door jiggled.

  Bonnie nearly dropped her lemon-scented cleaning spray as you entered the apartment. You were not supposed to be here, not now...

  "Hey, you... what... are you doing here." she stammered, trying to hide her hands under the cleaning rag as hair began to grow up her slightly elongated palms.

  Bonnie grinned a slightly too toothy grin, "I was gonna clean up the kitchen, as a surprise! Sure you don't wanna... leave? So I can finish?"

  Bonnie laughed nervously, her grin oddly fanged looking. Her nostrils flared as she smelled your scent, her yellow eyes fixating on you as her breath caught, "You really should gggrrro... go. You... you should," She wiped sweat from her brow, and the bottle of cleaner fell from the table. Bonnie gave another nervous laugh and bent down to grab it.

  *rrriiippp*

  The sound of fabric tearing sounded from behind the counter, Bonnie grabbed the countertop with a clawed hand that looked distinctly inhuman. "It's fine, everything's fine!"

  For a second a tail flicked into view, and she nearly shrieked trying to tuck it back into her pants, "You... you didn't see that! Please, you... need to.. you..."

  Bonnie gripped the counter with her other clawed hand and pulled herself up; her ears had grown longer, hair covered much of her body, and her face was twisted into a toothy snarling grin, "I don't have much control left... it's a full moon... you... weren't supposed to know." She laughed again, but it turned into a groan as her back arched, her muscles tensing.

  "Didn't know you were... dating a.. werewolf... did ya? Ha.. haha... I thought I could keep... it a secret, but it's only been one month and here you are. Guess... I'm not so sneaky... You'd better open the back door and lock yourself in the bedroom... or you're going to be joining me in the woods..."

  Her voice deepened and her tail grew even larger, her appearance was becoming more and more canine by the second, and between her rambling pleas and nervous laughter, she kept growling.

  "Last chance... I know this might be frightening... but you're my mate... It's not like I'll eat you... but... if you don't get your ass... in the bedroom right now... I'll... I'll..."

  Bonnie let out a deep howl as her fur bristled; she looked as much human as she did wolf now, and if you wait any longer, there will be no going back...
