I found this shot fascinating. I love the composition and the way you stitched it but even more than that, the fact that you shot it at all. I am drawn to abandoned houses myself and in fact shot one in Montana not long ago that I stumbled upon. There is something so sad and yet overwhelmingly mysterious about them, I find myself caught up in the possible stories of the family that left and they tend to stay on my mind, long after I shoot them.

Thank you very much, and thanks for the . I also am drawn to abandoned houses, as you may have guessed by all the photos I've taken of them. It's great when they're full of random artifacts left by the people who lived there. I found one house that was full of old Christmas cards, clothes, books, ornaments, etc. You can almost piece together the lives of the people who lived there by things they've left behind. Makes you wonder what made them leave it all behind though.

Very nice. I like the way that the stitched view gives a 'whole-room' feel of the desolation. And the idea of just being able to walk into places like this is, to me, rather unusual!

Thanks. It's really easy to walk into since there aren't any doors, but I didn't actually go inside since I didn't trust the stability of the floor. I shot this standing outside of a doorway
