Description
Original lineart by and a follow-up to this: fav.me/dbawjdbFaye thought she could run from her debts, even debts made with the Sea Witch, Jinx. Jinx, on the other hand, wasn't going to let her get away with that. When Faye's three days to pay Jinx back ran out, she found herself confronting her creditor, who strangely didn't seem the slightest bit upset that Faye couldn't pay up. Moments later, she found out why when Jinx's magic caused her to shrivel into a polypous bottom-feeder permanently rooted to the sea floor.
She should have read the fine print more closely before agreeing to the deal.
I really pushed myself on this one. I think it came out pretty good.

So, what deal did she make that was a bad deal?

She wanted to get out of debt to the creditors who've been chasing her for years.

They'll never find her now.

I will. I'm currently trying to settle on what to do next weekend. I'll have more free time next week, so I might try something bigger. Maybe.

Your effort paid off! It did indeed turn out great. I see a lot of time was put into the background like you wanted to improve on from before, and I think what you made shows off the environment nicely. The positioning has good flow, and the three stages are depicted just right. Good job~

Again, it came down to references for the background. But sooner or later, the details sink in, I suppose. But the end result on this piece is pretty good. I think it's a careful placement of the objects to help reinforce the direction the eye is supposed to go that makes it work. Good design principles can do a lot to compensate for limited skill in the actual drawing part.

Yes, when all those factors are combined you get a nice pic
