Now, obviously, since Mihoshi is friends with Washuu, the greatest scientific genius in the universe, their first thought would be to go to her for help getting Kiyone's frogification reversed.
But on the way, Mihoshi came across the loveliest looking retro diner and just had to stop for some food. She was hungry, after all. Kiyone was not happy about the delay. She'd probably be less grumpy if the guy at the cash register hadn't asked, "Do you want flies with that?"

Fun fact: That "space soda"? Actually based on a real thing. Coca-Cola tried making a space coke can design for astronauts to take with them. It was scrapped after one test. It turns out that carbonation and zero-G don't mix. The gas not only makes people belch, it makes them throw up.
Okay, so that fact might be a little less fun than I initially let on.
