Another pic of my protean character, this time doing business at the city library. As beings of chaos, proteans loath order in all its forms and to the protean anointed The Slithering Fricative by the inscrutable forces of chaos, a library is one of the ultimate forms of heresy, for a library is where knowledge is organized and ordered. And when it entered the library to destroy it late one night, what should it find, but some poor librarian correcting mis-shelved books. How dare she!? Removing what little disorder existed in this place of law! Such an abominable act could not be allowed to pass!
Before it was finished with its work that night, it had one heretic squealing for mercy.
