"So, you're the ones who have been making trouble for people passing through the forest?" Princess Marle demanded.
The three giant hags sneered, unimpressed with Marle's royal display. Laughing, one leaned down towards her.
"This is our forest," it said. "And we'll deal with trespassers as we please."
Marle tensed, unwilling to show any fear. "Wrong. This forest is royal property and you are harassing my subjects. I order you to leave immediately!"
She thrust her finger up at the hag. It eyed her finger, amused. Gesturing nonchalantly, the hag began to chant, joined immediately by its companions.

"Pretty princess, brave and bold,
"Whose heart, they say, is made of gold,
"Your pretty face,
"We now replace,
"With a far less pleasant mold."

A burst of light flowed from the hag's finger to Marle's. It moved like water, but it struck like lightning. Marle jumped back at the shock, her legs getting twisted in her dress. As she tumbled, a peculiar sensation crossed her body. She felt like she was puffing up, as if she'd been struck and her entire body was swelling from the blow. Crying out, she collapsed, her dress ripping and tearing as the hem caught on the underbrush. Standing over her, the hags laughed as they watched her fall to her hands and knees. She struggled to regain her feet, but only got herself more tangled in her dress. With a final rip, she pulled herself free of the tattered rags that remained. Preparing to call upon her water magic, she tried to stand.
But she couldn't stand. Glancing down, she saw her hands had morphed into trotters and were connected by orange-pink legs to a fat body with a curly tail.
"I'm a pig!?" she she tried to shout, but all that came out was a panicked squeal.
"And that's what we think of your royal decree, princess," said the first hag.
"Now be gone," said the second, "before our sister decides she wants pork chops for dinner."
The third hag rubbed her belly and licked her lips.
In a blind panic, Marle ran off into the forest.

A collab I did with This is the collab I've been hyping for so long now.
I've been wanting to do a pic using a hag coven from classical D&D for a while. In fact, way back when I first drew the Chrono Trigger girls as pigs, I was planning this piece, but I just didn't have it in me to draw it out. Then I was talking with the idea to my friend and he decided he wanted to help draw it out. So, he provided the linework for the characters, I did the colors and the background, then he did the effects and shading. The final result is absolutely superb.
