This was carved from a branch of Mahogany. I followed a style from a local carver I know. He is now proudly on display at my bar.Related content

This is deffinately a bar piece for sure. I'd imagine your bar is quite the hag-out spot!

Is this chiseled, or do you use some machine? Your carvings here are really good!

It is mix of both. Start with a chainsaw, smooth and shape with an angle grinder, refine with chisels and knives, and finally sand and stain. Total work about 12 hours.

12 hours, shit! I've done extremely little carving, and it's s-l-o-w! But I guess that's just a matter of experience... I think I wouldn't be nowhere that far in 12 hours
