Defect:

Nicknames: Dee. Frankenbot.

Gender: Mech

Approx Age: Two years, give or take. He was re-made and re-programed by M.E.C.H. agents from vehicon parts( and others to achieve the vehicle mode, height and bulk) to help them in their fight against the Cybertronians. He hasn’t been online for very long and there’s no telling how old the drones were.

Alliance: M.E.C.H

Function/Job: Reinforcements, cannon fodder.

Height: Thirty feet tall

Approx Mass: Ten metric tons

Personality: He’s usually talkative, preferring to chat with any Cybertronians he comes across before he drags them in for happy fun times with M.E.C.H. He doesn’t like complete silence and comes off as docile. He goes where he’s lead most of the time and has a pretty even temper. He rarely gets angry unless one of his team members are getting attacked. He is very materialistic and has stockpiles of anything that catches his interest, a natural pack rat.

Appearance: Defect has some vehicon characteristics, mostly in the shape of his helm, along with his servos and pedes. He is bulkier than a vehicon though, as more armor was added to his frame to compliment his alt mode.

Alt Mode: A green Hummer H1.

Weapons: Other than his height and bulk, Defect has a cannon stolen from another mech, Burnout, and an energon knife from a femme. He also has a high voltage taser. He likes to take artillery or odd trinkets from downed mechs and femmes, but those are his main weapons. If he’s in range or the enemy closes in on him, he tends to try and rip apart or crush the mechs he can reach. He also has a welder, but that’s just for repairs.

Family: He considers Confusion, another frankenbot made by M.E.C.H. to be family and was very protective of her. As for Robert, he was always a constant in Defect’s short life but holds no value to the big mech other than keeping him off the chopping block.

Strengths:He’s practically unflappable, not much fazes him coming from agents or other Cybertronians, he has heard it all before. He can take a great deal of damage and still function, it helps that he’s impervious to pain. He has a silver glossa, he can usually talk his way into or out of any situation, his inoffensive demeanor goes a long way.

Weaknesses: While it’s a great strength, his lack of pain receptors is also a weakness. He can never tell when he needs repairs unless something falls off, breaks open, or he crashes into stasis from internal damage. His friendly nature often leaves him in terrible situations, sometimes of his own making. He’s also pretty slow, being so big and with all the extra weight he carries with him.

Robert M. Hayes:

Date of Birth: 10/01/1976

Date of Death/rebirth: 5/10/2013

Nicknames: Rob, or ‘disgusting fleshling’ by many Cybertronians.

Approx Age: 37

Alliance: M.E.C.H.

Function/Job: Soldier, he aspires to be an assistant to the scientists so he can see first hand what makes the bots tick, what can disable their frames or impede their systems other than a well placed shot.

Height: 5’11" tall.

Weight: 173 pounds.

Personality: He’s usually quiet and tends to show more affection and connection to animals, automobiles and other machines than people, which is ironic if he thinks about it. He’s more often impatient and sarcastic when he does speak to people, mostly sarcastic, he likes getting a rise out of others. Even with his tendency to be an a-hole, he has strong beliefs and will stand up for what he thinks is right no matter who is on the other side: the police, a race of giant robots, doesn’t matter.

Appearance: Robert has tan skin, brown eyes/ hair and stubble he rarely shaves off. His appearance never comes up though, he wears the standard M.E.C.H uniform.

Weapons: Defect, guns, bombs and various other fun toys provided or made by M.E.C.H. Recently, he’s able to employ claws, speed and strength to take down opponents.

Abilities: Being disarming and/or ‘invisible’. He often gets ignored if he’s not talking. Since his ‘rebirth’ as a half dragon, he can now turn into a large brown dragon at will.

Family: His parents Arthur and Margaret, his older sister. He has plenty of cousins and aunts and uncles, but he usually can’t name them off the top of his head. Likewise, Defect is just there to make it easier to bring in Cybertronians for M.E.C.H.

Strengths: He’s good at coming up with quick plans if his team is cornered. With the transformation he is now faster, stronger and most technology doesn’t effect him like it did when he was human thanks to his tougher scaled skin.

Weaknesses: His big mouth often gets him in trouble, that coupled with his love of taking living machinery apart often gets him maimed/shot/ mauled by said machinery. With his new form,he still feels the pain from weapons fired at him even if he doesn’t break or bleed as easily. Dragons-bane is another weakness. It is a plant poisonous to dragons, that, when potent enough, can even kill them. Even a small dose of dragons-bane requires both an antidote and a sufficient amount of rest.
