Okay, let me be EXTREMELY clear before anyone comes in and starts painting me as a Bayformers fanboy. If you enjoy G1? Fine. If you don’t like the Bay films? FINE. You do YOU.

Hoo boy, where do I begin? Lately a handful of TF discourse on r/Transformers has been nothing but “bayverse bad Geewunn/bumblebee good” lately and it’s getting to the point where it’s on my nerves to an extent. Film criticism is one thing but when you make terrible god awful memes about “Geewunn forever” or Art/“memes” of insulting those films to spread a “message” to show what Transformers really is? That is a breaking point. Like if you draw hate of per se Bay Megs slaughtered by his GEEWUNN counterpart (you know who the fuck you are!!!) to spread that said message? You’re no better than toxic Bayverse fans by ANY MEANS. Are the bay films suddenly protected from criticism? Nuh-uh. I have my fair critiques with them. However it gets irritating to try and pass those “objective criticisms” as the right facts/opinions.

Are Bayverse fans any better? No, they threw a tantrum over ES Nightshade which honestly I saw no issue with?? But nope they choose to be homophobic/transphobic for why? No reason!

Ughh… the continuous dickriding on the Cybertron scene from Bumblebee 2018. I’ll be really honest that scene was fantastic but it’s getting to be really overhyped at this point when you call it as “ermmm better than the bay moviessssss!!!” Oh what’s that? Optimus prime didn’t play basketball like in GEEWUNN?! Boo HOO. Everything isn’t going to be the exact same as some mediocre toy commercial disguised as an 80’s cartoon. Nothing like killing everyone off in one movie to sell toys and call it a “masterpiece” am I right?

If I’m coming off as a butthurt? Yeah sure. I’m just coming off as disappointed in this community to how we just FIGHT all the FUCKING TIME. Remember sending death threats is NEVER okay over different designs! Jesus sweet merciful fucking Primus. CASE CLOSED.
