Description
Katara has been captured by Fire Nation soldiers. For extra humiliation, one soldier tightly gagged her while covering her face with a festive mask similar to the one she wore at the Fire Days Festival. Except this time, this is no act, and this unlucky princess must now find a way out of her predicament or at least bide her time for her friends to save her.

--I based this drawing on the ATLA episode "The Deserter", where Katara found herself as an unwilling volunteer to play the damsel-in-distress role for a firebending show. That scene was one of many DiD scenes that really stood out to me back then, despite only being a couple of minutes long. And Katara is a really underrated damsel in general.
