I love how Scorn's robot mode looks very spot on to his toy with some minor differences.

Wish there were more images floating around of him in dino mode.

Exactly what I said. Toy doesn't count because it doesn't really look a lot like him.

Yes it does. I have the toy and the only difference that i notice is that it has only 1 spin on the toy and it ha 3 in the movie

The spines are a pretty big part. The head doesn't look like the movie version aside from the fact that it follows the basic spino shape. The toy version is too rounded. The colour is also off, with toy scorn being almost entirely red, while movie scorn was a pretty even mix of grey and rust shades.

All of the dinobots colors are off. And of course the toys are always going to be a bit different

They hit nearly perfectly with the Beast Wars toys. The toy of Megatron's third form was done amazingly well. I just feel like they don't even try anymore, that's all.

But, man, what is up with Dinobots an the letter 'S'?

G1 tradition. The only dinobot in g1 apart from grimlock not to start with an "S" is paddles, and he was only in a comic

Definitely, but if you look at the full concept art that had both its robot and dino modes, the dino mode had ALOT more red than in the movie. I am actually quite glad that they toned him down a bit.

These guys were awesome in the movie and they were huge.

Well, Grimlock and Scorn at least were scaled to realistic dinosaur sizes. Realistic Cybertron dinosaur sizes that is.
