When Barbara burst into Gotham gardens, she was expecting to see Poison ivy threatening a city official or a making a bio-weapon, but instead, she saw the villainess cultivating a patch of flowers while stroking the "head" of giant carnivorous plant, the smell of flowers was thick in the air, this could be a trap, she had to be extra vigilant due to the disappearance of Dick Grayson a few weeks ago
"What are you expecting?... Do you want me to throw acid at you?" Poison ivy said in an... innocent and kind voice?

"I-i guess not?" Barbara would reply, incredibly confused "We just got reports that you had escaped arkham and broken into a greenhouse, i was expecting some kind of terroristic act?" Barbara questioned, running off of her previous knowledge

"Arkham is a place for the mentally ill is not? am i mentally ill, Batwoman? shouldn't everyone care for and love the earth?" Poison Ivy would say with a convicted and kind voice, her intentions unreadable

"I-.. guess so?..." Barbara would reply, not being able to deny anything she said "But still, you've committed acts of terrorism against gotham before, you need to be brought to justice! you need to do your time!"

"Have i done anything wrong? hm? what, Bring wildlife back to gotham? Attempt to save this world from an oncoming apocalypse that the rich caused?" Poison ivy would state in a convincing and logical tone

for some reason, barbara could find no reason to disagree with her, She was making complete sense!

"Come onn~ Wouldn't it be more fun if you were on the actual right side of history?" Poison ivy would say in a seductive tone before blowing a kiss towards her, a weird dust floating out

"W-well... uh... Y-yea?..." Barbara would actively agree, thoughts of Eco-terrorism and ecology flooding in, her body shifting

"Also, while we're at it, you should get rid of that outfit! Do you actually know how much synthetic and harmful material is in that? It's alot! i wouldn't even dare putting it near my children!" Poison ivy would yell, her voice offended and genuinely horrified

"W-wait? it is?!" Barbara would rush to strip herself off the outfit, it feeling like bleach on her newly chlorophyll-esque skin, almost ripping it as she threw it to the ground, A moment of calm would come upon her as she looked around "You wouldn't happen to have some spare clothes would you? make sure they're organic?"

"Darling, all my clothes are organic." Poison ivy would state, quickly molding a leotard and gloves out of yellowed autumn leaf's, throwing it to Barbara

"T-thanks Mrs. Ivy! these are really soft?.. no silky.. they're way too comfortable...!" Barbara would state excitedly

"No problem, it's what happens when you don't wear unnatural clothing~" Poison ivy would say in a coy and caring voice, before continuing on

Over the night, Barbara and Ivy would chat about ecology, politics and the state of the world, Barbara finding herself agreeing with Ivy, as she swayed her to her side more and more, Not wanting to help the bat family anymore but instead, feeling plant life run through her veins and core, connected to the world around her. Maybe Ivy was right, maybe the world had to pay for it's sins~
