Eh, I did this for a Metal General thread on /mu/. Most of it doesn't just reflect my views alone, but a few of my friends helped to contribute, but Black Metal will AlWAYS be God Tier.\m/

Funny, that's the main one I'd change- I never could get into Black Metal

But that's interesting that you did this with other people. Didn't you all start to argue over what went in each tier? I know I would!

No, we all had a General idea of what would be placed in each tier, though there were a few that took so time to place, like Doom Metal, of which I am not a fan of at all, I didn't see it at God Tier myself but it was already widely accepted at that level along with Black Metal and Death Metal by most fans in general(who weren't plebs). Others that were a tad difficult to place were Avant-Garde, -Post, Drone and Gothic.
