Simon just confused the hell out of her.

Math.
Sort of rounding out Simon a bit. Showing his keen knowledge of numbers and certain formulas and also bring out a bit of his capacity to be a know-it-all.

As good as the crushing segments that you draw are. I'm starting to like the character building sketches you draw better. This world you created has some interesting characters.
