Frolic : Mommy...Nova : Yes sweetie, what is it?
Frolic : ...why are we ...different from the others?
Nova : What do you mean?
Frolic : ...Why do people treat us differently than others?
Nova : Well, we are different i suppose...
Frolic : But, why?
Nova : Well, i began to raise a pony, and most of the gryphons and ponies around here arn't to happy about that...
Frolic : ...Why did you raise me if it causes problems for you?
Nova : Because you're my daughter <3
Frolic : ...but that's not what-
Nova : Why are you so curious about this all of a sudden?
Frolic : ...cuz other kids at school are making fun of me...cuz i don't have a pony parent...
Nova : Oh hell naw, -stands up- We'll just have to go talk to their parents about that, eh?
Frolic : No, mommy, i don't want to cause any trouble D:
Nova : Lets go sweetheart~<3
Frolic :butbutbut @ ~@
Nova gets the job done...no matter what
anyways yea, i just drew this cuz i feel bad that i havn't been drawing in awhile...and i've been thinking of Nova and Frolic's back story a little more.
I'm still against the ropes on how Nova lost her eye :/

This is so sweet. Being a farming nation we get some cute stories about animals adopting other species. Like dogs adopting stray lambs or chickens raising ducks etc.
It doesn't matter who your mommy is, as long as she loves you with an honest and true heart.

If I were to choose a scenario about her eye, I'd say it be from a scrap with another griffon when they bad-mouthed about her raising Frolic, and the result ending in her losing an eye. Kinda dark, but hey

a big black dog that can enters dream to give them nightmares. he also have metal claws but with a hole on it so it cant take anything away
