This time I present to you, The University of Djene in the Strike Witches Universe, the structure of the building is based on the Great Mosque of Djenne, but turned into an university as Islam doesn't exist in the SW universe, it's an amalgamation of the Great Mosque of Djenne and the University of Sankore, one of the greatest examples of the Sudano-Sahelian Architecture, being white and black reflecting the Volta Bassin Style, this being a Mossi Nation after all, makes sense their structures reflected this style, it's also a functioning university since its creation, being constantly kept and taken care of, polished over the years to endure the test of time.

Located in the Kingdom of Ouedraogo (A Mossi Empire in Western Africa composed of pretty much the entirety of Western Africa with its capital set in real life's Burkina Fasso), built in the 13th century by the Keita Dynasty which ruled in the Kingdom of Ouedraogo, a golden age period in African history where the Kingdom amassed a great deal of wealth and culture resulting in becoming one of the most powerful nations in Africa. in this era the dynasty built several education centers across the country to enlighten the populatiin, one of these being the University of Djenne, which was (And still is) a center of education with people from all corners of the Old World coming here to educate themselves in the history of African Nations and the exploits of the Roman Expedition into African continent lef by the legendary witch, Georgia of Lyda, these ancient records are stored within the walls of the university.

Over the years the university built a partnerships with other educational institutions and nations, currently it has partnerships with the nations of Gallia, The United States of Liberion, The Kingdom of Egypt, The Empire of Karlsland, The Great Mongolian Empire and The Fuso Empire, creating a network of exchange of documents and students to spread the history of African nations across the world.

I definetely feel like making more of these to flesh out the SW universe a little bit more, Enjoy!
