Description
ALRIGHT, bug type time, I gotta say. . .this one was difficult. . .it doesn't look like a reptile anymore but I tried my best to keep it non bug alike as much as possible, in the end I guess it still looks like a dinosaur like insect. . .good enough for me I guess. . .Arthera, the camouflage pokemon
TYPE:
DEX ENTRY: evolution of Skinka, no one can really explain how this is possible, but when a Skinka decides to live upon big forests or deep beneath jungles, it's adaptations in it often relies a lot on hiding in plain sight
somehow, someway, they gain a camouflage ability that allows it to change it's coloration to blend in it's environment, however, no matter how good they became at it, they still got spotted do to it's overall long size shape
for this, Skinka as time passes on, it began to evolve into this odd evolution known as Arthrera, a bug like pokemon that blends in perfectly, sometimes they pretend to be tree bark, other times they pretend to be leaves from a tree, or more commonly, a Scyther to scare away some predators, and if that doesn't work, they have the ability ti jump really far with it's legs, and on dark nights, the tip of their tails can actually illuminate a little, despite of having wings, they are flightless and only serves them to flap as they fall to the ground to reduce the fall speed
NAME MEANING AND ORIGIN: Arthropod, scientific name for insects + Era, it is based on a Chameleon and as well as a Compsognathus, a very small species of dinosaur, as well as a combination of different types of bugs, Pray Mantis, a cricket, a firefly and cicadas

I think you did a really good job with this one. It was a good idea to ditch the antennas too, so it wont lose that reptilian aspect on its head. This is my most favorite one so far you made so well done!
Ironic enough, scyther's head design was inspired by dinosaurs or even dragons. So is not that farfetched if you ask me.
