so, after seeing Mewtwo getting revealed, we got the luck to see some of his color pallets and in total there were 4 colors, Orange, Blue, Cyan (turquoise for me) and black with white, I kind of add the other 3 colors as I first did with the first image of mewtwo befor ethe reveal, so these are colors, 4 are official 3 are extrafrom left to right at the top
1.- default color Purple
2.- Shiny color green, it's kind of obvious they will add that color, it appeared in melee, they cannot take it off now
3.- Blue color
4.- Orange color, I FIXED IT EVERYONE! no longer good old red, though I kinda miss it
from left to right at the bottom
5.- Black and white, though I think is like a color inverter since I saw a darker color of purple
6.- Cyan color or turquoise
7.- Black color tail because it looks cool thatw ay
8.- Shadow Mewtwo, I just can dream can I
anyways, here we have mewtwo colors once again, hope you like it

If this was the official palette swap list, it would be completely disappointing just like many palettes that other character suffered, such as Sonic, Pac-Man and Lucario.

no it isn't EXACTLY, only three of them are not official yet, and those are the green one the black tail one and the one with the red eye, the rest is official

nope, it's mor elikely a switch of colors of the original, what is white is now purple and what is purple is now white

Which is exactly what Shadow Lugia's color scheme; an inverse of that of regular Lugia.
So while the color scheme isn't identical, the concept is the same.

uhh no because if it wa sthe same thing for shadow lugia, iit would be blue instead of purple, and the white color on shadow lugia is more greyish than white
