Where they were originally from: They lived in an apartment in Station Square before getting arrested (for something quite stupid) and ended up in Zone Jail .

Where she lives now: Now she, and the rest of the squad live in a nice little house in Mushroom Hill .

Fun facts

1.) If you're wondering why they're missing an eye, it's because they lost it in a fight while they were in jail It wasn't the person they were fighting that made them lose their eye, but while they were fighting, they tripped on a knife... I know. Great way to lose an eye... On accident...

2.) he were one of Dexter's prison buddies... Actually his only... Prison buddy.

3.) He was bullied in prison for being a little bit feminine, and only having one eye.

4.) They had an old redesign that looked like this .

5.) They try to hide their missing eye in front of most people. They only shows it to people they can trust.

6.) They have a bit of a stutter, and sometimes get a little annoyed when they can't get their words out.

7.) He really likes neon colors.

8.) If you look really, really, REALLY closely. You can actually see the scar on their eye.

9.) The reason that he got arrested was a rather stupid one... The reason was...! he was driving a van that just happened to look like a "Free candy van". (Y'all know what those look like.) He wasn't able to get himself out of going to jail, because the cops that arrested him didn't know sign language. He spent a good chunk of his life in jail for his poor choice for a vehicle... He hates when Dexter brings this up in a conversation because he thinks it's embarrassing. Dex finds it funny though.

10.) Their face turns bright red if anyone calls them things like "cute" or "baby". They just don't know why people think they're this "pure, smol bean that needs to be protected at all costs". Even though it's kinda obvious.

11.) He have scars on his chest that he say he got in a fight, even though that isn't actually what they're from.

12.) Hate to deadname the character, but their original name was "Luna".

13.) She loves to look up at the stars whenever she get the chance.

14.) She used to be mute, but thanks to Tails, she's able to speak again.

Backstory

Nova spent quite a bit of their life in prison after being arrested for... Something that they'd rather not talk about because they think it's too embarrassing.

He was usually bullied by other inmates in the prison for one thing or another, until the day he met Dexter. the two of them became close friends, sticking up for each other whenever they needed to . When Nova would get bullied for something, Dexter world be right there to protect him, and vice versa. They hardly ever left each other's side.

The day Dexter broke out of jail... Nova thought that they had lost their best friend forever. They got picked on more than usual because Dexter wasn't there to help they. They spent a good chunk of their life like this until the day they were let out of jail.

The day Nova was let out, they decided to look for Dexter to try to ask him why he would abandon them like that.

Nova eventually found Dexter hanging out with the rest of the squad, they walked over to him and got his attention.

"NOVA!?" Dexter said, surprised to see his old friend. Nova nodded with a somewhat sad expression on her face. The rest of the squad looked at Dexter and then at nova, wondering who the heck this random cat was, and how Dexter knew her.

"Guys, this is Nova, a friend of mine from back in prison."

The squad all started greeting her, and after that, Nova grabbed Dexter by the hand and ran over behind the nearest tree.

"What is it nova?" Dexter asked, concerned for his friend.

Nova grabbed a few pieces of paper and a pen out of her pocket and started to write something. "Why did you leave me...?" The paper said in scribbled hand writing.

"Why did I- ... Oh..." Dexter said as he remembered what Nova was talking about. "Nova... I'm sorry... I didn't want to leave you. But you knew how badly I wanted to get out of jail." Dexter continued.

"So you just leave me without even telling me were you're going or if I'll ever see you again?!" Nova wrote on her paper as she started to tear up a little.

"I- I didn't mean to! You KNOW I'd never just leave you without a reason!" Dexter said.

Nova and Dexter just stared at each other for a few minutes before the rest of the squad walked over to check up on them.

"What's going on?" Lily asked.

"It's nothing. Nova's just having a bad time right now." Dexter said.

Nova looked at him in shock. After all they just talked about, he had the nerve to say that Nova was just having a bad time?

Max walked over and said to Lily and Dexter: "So? Do we have a new squad member over here or what?"

lily, Dexter, and Nova all looked at him with surprise. "Hm... Never really thought of that." Dexter said back.

"What now?" Nova wrote on a piece of paper as he was just as confused as everyone else.

"Nova? I know you're kinda mad at me right now. But how would you feel about being part of the squad?" Dexter said with a smile on his face.

Nova thought about it for a minute, almost completely forgetting that he was mad at Dexter, And then eventually wrote on a piece of paper: "Yes."

The whole squad cheered for the the fact that they had a new family member, and after that, They all started heading for home.

And Nova's been with them ever since.
