He never "died", per-say; he was the product of a drunken, magic-filled night that, in his parents' words, "never should have happened." Paradox wasn't even technically born, he kind of popped out of nowhere where Discord was, which just so happened to be the Everfree Forest. Paradox is essentially a zombie, walking and 'alive' but never truly being born or living.

Paradox got his name because that's exactly what he is: a being that contradicts himself. He's both alive and dead, but neither at the same time.

It's fine
Twilight eventually starts to become more bat-like as she gets older in my own headcanon, because honestly, with a name like "Twilight Sparkle", she would probably do something other than friendship involving the night

So I was thinking to myself right
And I was like, "Well, if Flim's got a beautiful wife then ol Flam's gotta have one too or else there's no one to love his stache and we can't have that now can we?"

Then I was thinking to myself again and thought, "Well, if Flash is with Twilight and Sunburst is super gay and if Trixie and Starlight are taken, and if Flam's still single as a pringle, then why not ship them together?"

I made a lot, and I mean A LOT of notes on who and what to ship with who and what, but SunFlam stuck with me. A lot of people with often headcanon that Flim gets the girl and Flam goes to jail or the brothers share a lovely lady, but I never understood that because if anyone deserves some love it's the brother who is in the shadow, and I decided that sunset would be the one to give him that affection.

It really is one of my favourite ships, and though it started out as a filler of sorts, it's going to stick to me like glue.

Totally! I do have to say I am guilty of shipping them with the same pony (glad mane in my new NG, formerly Silver Shill and even before THAT Trixie) but I just can't stand when they peg ol' stachio as some sort of self-absorbed asshat who COMPLETLY INFLUENCED FLIM TO BE BAD BLAH BLAH BLAH FLIMJACK. I mean come on! I always HC as him as a bit of a grump sometimes, but he's honestly really cares about his family, in any situation. And don't even get me STARTED on the 'flam goes to jail/runs off into the sunset to be found in a ditch and took in by FLIMJACK BLAH BLAH BLAH' trope. Just UGH
