I can see what you mean about the "female" pose but the whole scene was intended to be like it is. I wanted Charlie to come across very feminine.
The concept that I have in my head, of Charlie, is really just a gay guy that grew up in this big city and is very much open to try and experiment with almost anything.

Oh, you saw that, I thought twice as it doesn't matter what what I think. I'm sorry you saw it. I don't have any problems with really feminine guys, my best friend for years was camp as Christmas, he sadly died in an accident on holiday, and I love drag shows. It's just not what I find sexy, so, of course I removed it because that doesn't matter. Typical, I was doing a render at the time and my computer ground to a halt almost so it took me a while to manage to change it. I really do wish I could have turned back time and not said it. If you can please forget it happened.

I've used an HDRi for the environment and a plane with an emission shader for the backlight. For the face, I've used a point light very close to him. Plus some interior lights to create some interesting highlights in the room.
I must say that lighting is the most fun but also the most time-consuming part of any render. For me at least.
