Congrats to all the lovely people who brought to life Season 1 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic!!!Here is the complete set of custom Suited for Success My Little ponies- the mane six and Spike!
All of the ponies have G4 brushable pony bases- Removable skirts made of apoxie, and were painted with artist acrylics and sealed. Their hair was styled. Spike was sculpted from scratch! Please see their individual pictures in my gallery for more info on each custom.

Well, could have been worse. She could have been Green or something.
Is it just me or do a lot of the Gen 4 toy's look suspiciously like Gen 3 models?

They are remaking a lot of the Gen 3 characters- probably because Hasbro still has the rights to them. I'm not sure but I'm guessing that might have something to do with it?

Which is a Pity cause Gen 3 era was the low point in the Franchise so far.
Gen 1 at least had amusing villains, and if nothing else, you had to chuckle at that fact that every few weeks it was Ragnarok in Pony Land.
Gen 2 did a better (though still not close to gen 4 lvl) Job of character development, and actually had a nice little 80's feel too it with them all depicted as Teenagers.
Gen 3, god, they all seemed like the same characters, they all looked almost exactly the same, the voice acting was terrible, and there was basically no real conflict or comedic value too it. It really, truly, was, designed to do NOTHING other then sell play sets!
And then came gen 4, but we all know about that.

Oh man, I agree. Although IMO Gen 2 made some of the weirdest toys LOL. The Gen 3 show/movies- well, yeah. Spot on, they were made to sell toys!!! hehe

Yes, but come on, he actually had relationships being discussed (not brilliantly but they were being discussed.), and hey, one of the three recurring male characters was just one angst y back story, a utility belt and a couple of kung fu classes away from being Batman!
That all by itself made it more amusing, that and seeing them have to try makeovers as the first attempt to fix most of the problems, only too have that crash and burn and thus teach the kids that what you look like is, shockingly, NOT the most important thing!
But again, it wasn't gen 4. New season, one more day, one more day, one more day!

Hey, so far they've not interfered with the entire first season being on Youtube. I think they may have gotten smart on that one and elected not to alienate the older fanbase that can't necessarily be sitting there on Saturday morning to catch the eps!
