I'm not sure- have you ever seen her? She's like a foot tall

I'm not sure why she is- it makes me sad, I don't even have a Celestia in my regular collection- she's too big for my pony shelf!!

so, why don't you just buy celestria and make your own suited for success.

This is so wonderful! You are amazing! I wish you would do some kind of 'how to guide' to help show others how you made these ; ; I want them so bad! I'd give anything for that Pinkie or Fluttershy.

Neat! My favorite episode thus far. Am I crazy for liking the songs about being a designer and seamstress?

I'm new to the show. I've known about it, but it took me a while to give it a chance because I'm used to the old style ponies, toy-wise - which I like better.
The new (I think G4) style is odd to me. Still, the show has become a favorite, when I can watch it, and it's made the new style a bit more appealing.
I like how it tries to follow in the path of the 80s cartoons, giving young ones something good and moral to consider and follow. I feel kids are lacking that these days.
Of course, you're welcome, also.

Ya know, its the SAME way for me. When I first saw them announced at a show (SDCC? TGS? something like that) I was like... woah. Those ponies look like... ANIME. And then a month later they announced the new show. I was skeptical, especially since I had never even heard of the HUB network.
Then BLAMMO it came out! And yay!! I love the show! The style is still growing on me (I don't like that single packs are so small, they are all in the same basic pose, etc) but I now love em. I have them in my collection with my G1s too!
And when I saw they were bringing back Applejack I flipped! I love Applejack! Now if they would only bring back Bowtie... :3

I really didn't like the new pony forms at all; but, the show was fantastic, in my opinion. It helped me accept the new form a bit more.
I wish they'd bring back the old ponies. Lickity-Split is one I remember. My memory isn't so good, so it's not easy to remember the names of some of my favorite ponies!

These are all so incredible!!! They seriously look like the real thing! It would be awesome if Hasbro made figures like this someday, although I'd expect them to get the coloring wrong in some spots due to the whole Applejack hat incident...

Sadly, not yet! I think they're starting to carry Milliput which is supposedly close to it (I've never used it). I order right thru Aves website.

Oh darnit. Maybe milliput would work then, but I'm not sure when I'll ever start doing customs.... If I ever have any questions, I'll let you know. For now, you deserve a watch! :3

Ah, so it comes in different colors too! Is it like clay or is it slimy and needs to dry?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
thatg33kgirl In reply to AleximusPrime [2011-05-13 00:39:09 +0000 UTC]
Yes yes! I just use the natural color because I paint pretty much everything LOL. It is like clay- it works different than pottery clay, and takes a bit to get used to, but its awesome. It air dries, and hard as a rock. I'd highly recommend it!

AleximusPrime In reply to thatg33kgirl [2011-05-13 03:43:43 +0000 UTC]
Ah, so you have to dry it. The kind of clay I was talking about was bakable clay, but I guess that works too. Clay would be good, but it stains a little too much, like white clay stains so easily...

Ah! Well I know some people use variations of Sculpey/Fimo and love it. I actually used super sculpey on my first two customs, before I got into sculpting so much. So you can try those out, just be sure when ur baking it to keep a good eye on the pony- they melt!

AleximusPrime In reply to thatg33kgirl [2011-05-13 20:44:39 +0000 UTC]
Oh, well I wouldn't dare bake it with the pony in the oven! Are you kidding?!? I'd just mold it around the pony and then carefully take it off and bake it.......then again it might warm while it's baking depending on how big and thin it is......

thatg33kgirl In reply to AleximusPrime [2011-05-13 21:26:16 +0000 UTC]
I've baked the two I did- I was just really really careful! What I heard works well is a really hot hair dryer or heat gun, but never tried those myself.

AleximusPrime In reply to thatg33kgirl [2011-05-13 21:54:34 +0000 UTC]
I guess it wouldn't melt them entirely, but I'd still be pretty careful about that...
