is holding a nifty little jam this month: Recreate a scene from any NES game. I had a ton of ideas go through my head, but none stood out more than doing something from Battletoads -- probably one of the most difficult games I ever attempted to play. I remember spending months playing this game with every free minute I had ... only to continuously die near the top of the Dark Tower. Eventually, I gave up, never getting the chance to face off with the uber-sexy Dark Queen.

I wouldn't feel too bad about this, had I not stumbled onto this video -- [link] -- while looking for references. Bastard.
