Hey, does CS4 have a hot key for flipping the canvas?

Not out of the box. You can set a keyboard shortcut by going to "Edit -> Keyboard Shortcuts...".

I have mine set to 'CTRL + ALT + Shift + F' but you can make the shortcut whatever you feel like pressing.
