I wonder who that Chimchar is?
So, I'm still stuck at chapter 5 in Explorers of the Past. I started it, but I might have to rewrite the beginning of the chapter.
By the way, I might start a comic series related to this, each being called "The Mysterious _________" because I like the sound of that. >3>

I'm stuck on the start of it. i know how everything else will go, but I can't seem to start it appropriately...

Well, other than a small 3-line mysteious voice, it's supposed to start as Team AuraShock getting a mission from Chatot to go on recon, or start with them already departed for the mission. They go to the mountainous region in "Chapter 5 Intro", called the Amp Mountains or something, which happens to be Zack's home before he joined the Guild. They see those two Luxio on the ground, soaked with water, and become confused when they mumble something like "The wettening" or whatever els I come up with. They find Buizel fighting an important character, and that's where I have to stop for after that will be a huge spoiler...

They're scouting because Chatot recieved a distress call/letter/signal/ something from near that area, saying something about "The Orange Death" or something.
Basically, the entire story will be built around "something, something, something, AuraShock. Something, something, something, power. Something, something, something, something, memories."

Well you should include the part where Chatot tells them of the problem - it seems pretty important. Details could be sketchy, though, so it leaves the team to wonder what this "Orange Death" could be.
Also maybe Chatot could instruct them to do recon only - and not to engage in any conflict since little information is known.
They find the luxio, dilerious, and mumbling, and they don't seem to be "all there".
Perhaps they mention something like "force of water", and the team wonders if this force of water is related to the "Orange Death".
They go on ahead, trying to keep out of sight, keeping a low profile, as was instructed, and they also see others which had been taken out by Buizel - all out of it. They find Buizel fighting the character, and they wonder (given Buizel's orange colour) if Buizel could possibly be this "Orange Death".
Perhaps during this fight, a water attack slices away the ledge AuraShock were peering from (up high, to the side), and they come tumbling down, and therefore inadvertedly become involved.
Ah really? Something, something, AuraShock, something, something, power? Something something something memories?
That is really something!!

Maybe, for the time being when you're totally stuck, you can also go a bit closer to the original story and let it carry you until you can stand on your own feet again.
