Ready your nets, everybody, because the Bug Off is tomorrow!Just a super quick doodle because I got a brand new set of watercolor paints and I feel bad for not updating recently! (Pfft, I'm still pretty bad at watercolors so don't judge me too harshly.
I'll get better, I promise!)I also managed to get my hands on a copy of Animal Crossing: New Leaf and am completely addicted. As a veteran Animal Crossing junkie, I wanted to know "What is your favorite Animal Crossing game and why?" or "What's your favorite part of New Leaf so far?"

I just ordered New Leaf yesterday, so it should get here in a few days. (I couldn't settle for a digital download, noooo, I just had to have the physical copy.) I played the hell out of the ones on the GameCube and the old DS, too.

My favorite Animal Crossing? Aaaaghh... Either the original or New Leaf. The original was something that me and my older sister loved together, so it holds pretty special memories for me. But then New Leaf is full of new things that I love- and at the same time can hold special memories because my sister and I got them in the same week and can talk about it together.
My favorite thing about New Leaf? Not gonna lie, probably the fact that you can remove your socks and shoes, or the dresses, or the fact that you can go swimming. Like, I've always wanted to go swimming. From the first time I played in one of the booths at McDonalds over 8 years ago to the day I saw the swimming in a trailer for this game, I wanted to go swimming in Animal Crossing. This game seriously brought to life basically everything I wanted to do in the previous games. Like, crossing the tracks? That is so cool. All of this is really cool.
Haha, whoo! Wall of text! I love Animal Crossing and always will, so I'll probably pre-order the Wii U game if one ever comes out. xD Which is probably gonna happen someday, haha.
Also, fun fact: there was a Japan-only release of the game for the N64 called Animal Forest 64. Then it got redone and released as Animal Crossing for the GameCube in 2002.
