I kinda hated my first attempt at tribute so I redrew it from scratch.The fanbase is torn with the 3D games and rather if Sonic himself will ever work in 3d. Though there have been good examples and points made, the recent release leaves a mixed taste in everybody's mouth but I'll get to that in a later piece....
For now enjoy some quality 👌 art from yours truly to represent where I began chasing the blue blur.

Would that chain be attached to Amy and Maria, by any chance? Pretty symbolic that the girls Sonic and Shadow care for most are trapped.

It's simply a coincidence; I never once thought of it that way. But nice interpretation and in a way the chain could lend itself as a connection between Amy and Maria since they are the only two people in the series who could talk some sense into Shadow.

One thing's for sure, "Sonic Adventure 2" has always been my most favorite Sonic video game of all time, and I've been in the mood for playing it recently on my Xbox One as well.
