Good Lord it's been a good long while since I posted ANYTHING on deviantART! So I figured I'd kick off my return with a bit of a revamp.
So if anyone remembers those old sprites of Vile I did way back when, probably on my old account, then you'd remember the sprite on the left. After a good long while, I looked back on this guy and wasn't satisfied with what I had so... I took him, slimmed him down, gave him a Model Z (Giro) like helmet, some arm exposure, and made his gauntlets look a little sharper.
There's always room for improvement, and now I've got the time and resources to do it! So let me know what you guys think in the comment section below and let me know what you think needs changing.
This version of Vile, when completed, will be used in some form or fashion in my really delayed series involving Rose, Aero, and the others. As for the prior version, with a bit of touching up to his other sprites, I might contribute those to UltimateZero2015's Mega Man X fan game.

It looks a Phantom-ish clone of Vile. And I think that the green should be darker

Shoulders, helmet and cannon

I do have an idea for the cannon but I need to try to sprite it out first and see if I like it. As for the shoulder piece, I did add one, but only one. This is because throughout Vile's (VAVA'S) life in the X series, he often had changes to his appearance. I decided to try to take that concept into my own hands. But in the end, this is still just a dude using a Biometal modeled after Vile (VAVA).
