we were driving along one of those absolute nowhere roadspassing the usual oceanic crop of corn
when we saw the fences strewn with different types of shoes...
this one caught me best

I really like the shot. I can't really figure out why, though. I mean, it's just a shoe on a fence, but somehow there's so much more to it. The black and white looks amazing, with the contrast and the way the sky seems to fade a bit. And I like how a simple pole with a shoe is the subject. Simplicity is always a cool thing in photos. I think it's just so bizarre that I really like it.

I too like it for it's simplicity and I was trying to capture the bizarreness of it I guess, I mean..you don't really see that everyday, which is cool.

Yeah, I actually ment to get a pic of it myself but the last time we passed it it was night and too dark to see it. There was also a tree with alot of plastic cups stapled to it... weird people... But when/if I ever get a pic of the fence I'll show it to you and we can compaire lol
