This has been sitting in my computer for so long, so I might as well just submit it.
This was more of a test/practice to see how well I can do with a more paint-like style, I would love to hear what you guys think about itt~

Ur feeling for light and shadow is great u know where to place it to make it far more detailed! The only thing is dat u need to vary the surface structurs more!
So dat u can see dat the beak is hard and the feathers soft~
Anyway u know i love ur art style Soul! Keep it up and if u practice enough and study a little bit this problem will solve itself in a short time!
My tipp ->make some experiments!

This looks great!
I really like how you can see the neck curve with your feather direction placement 
My only suggestion would be to add a bit more bright highlights to the beak, as it looks a little flat in relation to the main head which has very bright highlights in comparison.
