Welcome to the Metro Bus Sign Series, where you will witness the bus signs combining the past with the present and the future. In this installment, we take a look at Line 154. Line 154 is a daily service route that runs on Burbank Boulevard and Oxnard Street between Burbank Metrolink Station and now the Sepulveda G Line [Orange] Station since June 2021 after discontinuing the segment between the station and Tarzana via Burbank Boulevard, as part of the NextGen Bus Plan - Phase II. Also on that timeframe, it's Saturday service was restored for the first time in 14 years; at the same time, it's Sunday service was restored for the first time in 35 years. In December of that year, service for the 154 has changed, as the route on Oxnard St between Burbank Bl & Lankershim was rerouted to Chandler, Vineland, & Burbank.
