Description
~~~~ Download to get the pdf tutorial (approx. 2Mo) ~~~~At last, here it is
I've promised this tutorial for 8 months ^^" sorry guys
This is the generic tutorial to make a rat as the ones I made for my Parzifal and Myrddrinn deviation.
Parzifal and Myrddrinn where plain-coloured rats. In this tutorial, you will learn to make "hooded" (two-coloured) rats. Any marking is possible, as long as you know the pattern well enough.
Please note that this tutorial was written for medium and higher levels. If you've never made any beadwork before, please practise with easier patterns.
Contact me if you need little more help (clear and precise questions only please
Have fun
~~~~ This tutorial is for personal use only ~~~~

Just your advice on making longer rows look better was an improvement for me. When I get the time to go back to beading, this will be a help!!!
Thanks!!

I was just wondering if you could suggest a starting length of wire for each half? I don't want to have to end up adding and adding more wire, or cutting off a ton of extra scrap...I'm also using .46mm 7 strand Beadalon wire.
I also posted a bit about the ratties on your page for your Tan and American Blue rats. My rat from this tutorial will be a memorial to one of my last rats, I had 3 American Blue boys- such sweethearts!!! I plan to do a few small modifications(see your other page), but I'll be sure to post a pic when I'm done.

I see you made it with pony beads. I think i need to give it a try with seed beeds... maybe 11, maybe 15 s. tiny tiny rat. I'll use it as a Christmas prezzy to my friend MagicRat [link] if it works. *shhhhh* don't tell her

Very cool! Wondering if there's a way to do the teeth...
I'd recommend those "easier patterns" might be just 2D, rather than 3D, but that's up to them.

this has absolutely nothing to do with your comment, but if a book commits suicide every time you mention the twilight series aren't you causing them to kill themselves by making comments with the book mentioned in the signature?

Egads! What you say is true, but perhaps it is the Twilight books that are leaping off cliffs and such.

I have a little question, I have just started this beading technique, but I have made 4 dragons so I lear quick!
Well, the first rat I tried, umm, the wire broke when I had just finished the tail and then I could not fox it..
but now I have made the whole forst part, but what I don't enly understand is;
Am i going to tie the wire to the bottom and then bead, or am i to bead the full upper part and THEN fasten it to the bottom part?
thanks in advance ^w^
rock on!
