It's finished! Days and days of toil and.....I have to say I'm a little disappointed...but relieved. I'm not sure about that background...is it ok? baaah...anyway.For those who do not realise, this is a fusion of Inu-Yasha and Ranma 1/2. I even gave the characters silly names!
Inu-Ranma (Inuyasha + Ranma)
Akagome (Kagome + Akane)
Mirokuno (Miroku + Tatewaki Kuno)
Shippousse (Shippo + Mousse)
Sanpoo and Pirara (Sango + Shampoo and P-chan + Kirara)
The next few days are going to be torture as I try and figure out my next project.
There is an alternate version with a cream-coloured, simpler background... I might post it...if I figure out where I stand on this version.
*update 27-2-04*
I made the image a little smaller...and darkened the character outlines in the way that i have become oh so familiar with. I think it looks a little better now.

You couldn't find a replacement for shippo, I understand why, SHIPPO IS SOOO CUTE AND AWESOME!!!!! Lol though I can imagine Kagome freaking out that Inuyasha could change sexes, lol

Now I will be constructively critical about this one...don't take it personally, because I'm been honest with ya on some character flaws.
1. This is pretty good, but I thought Ukyo was more like Sango, not Shampoo.
2. I think Shampoo would've been more Kikyo or something
3. I think it should been Tsubasa or Konatsu as Shippo
4. Speaking of Shippo, should Mousse be Sesshomaru instead? After all, Mousse and him got long hair and sleeves
Well, that's all I got to tell ya, hey don't get mad with me now...I'm been real calm and constructive on your artwork, not like all super-critical like those other die-hard fans who are nerds and criticize everything. I'm saying this with honesty and compassionate about it, not to be mean and everything, mind you. Okay thanks for listening and good night

I...actually only saw about one or two seasons of Inu-Yasha when I made this. lol. And..uh, i don't think I was taking into account personalities...except really of ranma,akane, and kuno...cos those were the ones I made first. Shampoo and mousse were really afterthoughts. I think I was referencing pictures at the time and those two fit the bodies easier (this was before I knew how to use google image search).
Not that I'm trying to make excuses for myself, dont get me wrong. Ok, maybe I'm trying to. Haha, I'm sorry! :$
ahhhhhh, I was young and reckless...and new to the fanart biz. lolz. Its ok though, many peopl have been quite (validly) critical of this piece, and I completely understand, and apologise if it has offended you as fan (because, god, I know how it feels

Ryoga as koga (since they look near identical.)
Happosai as myoga (also near identical)
mousse as seshomaru (white big sleeved clothes... come on.)
Tsubasa Kurenai as shippo (the guy who dresses as a girl who was after ukyo, the classmate)
sango as ukyo
Kodachi as kagura
and shampoo and boy ranma get to go on vacation, becuase i cannot think of who they should be.

well its not fully incorrect and it doesnt matter what i meant is that rumiko takahashi created the characters and just altered them to fit in with a seperate story line while maintaining the same base personality and appearance o and also that post is almost 2 months old

When I was going through my gallery... I was comparing this one to my more recent works, and I can't believe I thought this was so good at the time....
So I decided to touch it up by making the lines a bit thicker...I think it looks better this way...It brings out the colours....
