So, to make a long story short: I participated in the art contest, but I didn't win.
Which is why I've kept this piece of art back until the contest was over and the winners decided. My picture hasn't a whole lot to do with the DLC, because the DLC didn't arrive in Europe before the contest was over, but that didn't keep me from giving it a shot.

It's still a great game, though, and absolutely worth checking out. If you can, grab the entire bundle of Shovel Knight on the 3DS (other platforms are also good, but I think it just fits best on 3DS)!

BTW, this is the same simple technique I've used for the curly Lioma beast I've drawn a while back. The interesting thing about it is that it can be done with the most simplest program. Yes, probably even MS Paint. Not that I would ever recommend any version of Paint, though...
