Description
The Sopwith Camel was a British First World War single-seat biplane fighter aircraft introduced on the Western Front in 1917. Manufactured by the Sopwith Aviation Company, it used a rotary engine, and had twin synchronized machine guns. Though difficult to handle it offered very good maneuverability to an experienced pilot. Camel pilots were credited with shooting down 1,294 enemy aircraft, more than any other Allied fighter of the conflict. Today, there are only eight known original Sopwith Camels left.Above is the F.1 version. I have left the wheel structures, guns, propeller and standing poles uncolored since many painted camels usually leave those part uncolored.
In spirit of the new Battlefield 1 game coming soon, here is one of the planes that'll be featured in the game: The Legendary Sopwith Camel. This was fun to make, especially with all the crazy rigging going all over the place. I can't WAIT to take to the skies and re-live my child dreams of being Snoopy and shooting down the Red Baron! I will also be adding the other Camel variants sooner or later.
EDIT 7/8/16: Added the Propeller, since coloring THAT Part of the plane may seem a little too hard.
EDIT 12/10/19: Completely revised the appearance of the ancient sprite. Now has full coloring, tracing and varying enhanced details.

Think you can do various air force liveries for this plane?
