Cool!! I find painting very difficult yet very relaxing. It's weird. I like this a lot. That story, though... ;_; Poor phantom!!

I was surprised at how much I liked painting. This was for an elective class, so I haven't done it since, but it was enjoyable!

I KNOW. The first time I was ever introduced to the Phantom of the Opera was when I saw the movie (I've since read the book and seen it on broadway...I like every version, personally) I was reduced to tears at the end.
I think, at least for a certain type of person, the phantom is a very sympathetic character (and, it doesn't escape me, I've always thought he had some similarities to Snape's character )

Honestly, I first saw the Phantom because of his similarities to Snape Both of them had a terrible love life and I wanted to give both some love because, I think, they both had an amazing ability to love and to cherish said love.

Also, the music is brilliant.

LOVE the soundtrack. Music of the Night is probably my favorite, along with the title track.

and lol, I've definitely read/watched things before because there was a Snape-like character in them : P. Snape and the Phantom are, to me, both rather twisted characters who you still feel so intrigued by and then feel so much for because there's just *something* about them. They're both damaged and brilliant and they both have this love-obsession, of course.

Snape singing Music of the Night would be... dreamy.

There's a fanfic somewhere called "Phantom of the Opera" (it's SS-HG pairing) where Snape participates in Hogwarts version of the story, as the Phantom.
