This Duncan doesn’t have a runningboard, thats why I put it on his smokebox.

I did consider putting the lamp on the piston like Luke but I went with the more Railway realistic position.

Compare the appearence of Talyllyn no.6 Douglas to Duncan in Season 4 model series:
You'll see that the model series had to simplify no.6 Douglas's complex appearence so that the model makers had could make damaged Duncan models for the accidents he'll have without having to struggle to make new ones.
If see how Duncan appears in CGI ttte you'll laugh how toyish he looks compared to his basis no.6 Douglas!
I mean, they made the funnel, & cab comically tall,his boiler is small & sits too low to be functional, somehow someway they put red running boards onto him (even though he shouldn't have running boards at all!).
I felt that Duncan CGI's appearence was based on a toy..
