There are perks to reaching the realms of the gods. In terms of power it is unbelievable, the potential is endless and there are many avenues to explore. The biggest problem? Like everything in life, if there is powerful light then there is bound to be equally powerful darkness that will come to meet it.

First off, credit to every person who made the sprites here. I edited every single sprite slightly but I cannot take credit for any of these but my memory is horrible when it comes to keeping track of who did what so if you come on here and happen to notice a sprite of yours? Let me know, I'll edit the description to include the name. Just know I did this not intending to steal and that your work is stunning. Now... doing this was kind of interesting. Of course let me be clear, this was done for fun. I shouldn't need to state this but I know there will be people out there who will look at this and go "SSG Superman? Super Sonic God? Golden Darkseid? Nah man, nah that ain't right. That is beyond the realms of possibility." so just know I get it, I did this purely for fun and entertainment. No more, no less. Now moving on, I did this because as someone who has been on the internet for a good while? I had seen posts featuring things like a Super Saiyan God Sonic or a Golden Mephiles and for some reason the idea popped into my head that I could do an image featuring SSG Goku along with takes on Superman and Sonic which then became "But what if I included their enemies in gold?" which sparked this idea.

Now normally, I don't work with sprites and that's primarily because the image-editing software I use, Paint.net for the longest time I thought couldn't handle sprites well in terms of resizing and so on. That was UNTIL I learned about the fact that you can tweak options and when you set it to "Nearest Neighbor", it will make sure the sprites come out crisp in resizing and not the least bit blurry which I thought was awesome. Now I'm sure people who know their way around this software will read this and think "Dude I've known about this since I started using it, what the hell is this supposed revelation?" and... well when it comes to programs, I am able to quickly get a handle on using them but I'm not the most explorative when it comes to my options so I'll often just not think to check on what I can do and thus will learn as I do things. But I'm happy whenever I do because it means I can create images like this and they won't be super tiny and overall? I'm happy with how it came out. I tried to generally keep color palettes as close to the anime as possible thus I used a color picker tool on screencaps and I even went as far as to change hues on certain images to get colors that I especially felt I needed. It was a supreme pain, especially figuring out how to represent every color and also for figuring out things like adding a slight glow to Darkseid's eye. Either way, this was very fun to do, I hope you all like it.
