This is my final statement on the ugly journal situation that I've mentioned on my front page. I want to be done with it, but I wanted to say this first.

I backed down, but not because I was ashamed or because I was beaten. This is my reasoning.

I will never apologize for the opinions I hold or for the things I said, and I will defend those opinions to anyone who comes and challenges them to me.

I am stronger, sometimes, than even I know.

But sometimes knowing when to pick your battles is the greatest strength of all.
