While he may not weigh much he sure does have a powerful kick, and he will crack the ground with this attack and make his opponent eat some dirt.

Gavin still enjoys playing with knives and poison and combining the two makes for great fun.

Discharge:

Being ripped from another place and time has left this once seemingly cheerful young man rather bitter. Not to mention his typing and ability also leave him with a rather rambunctious and easily irritable personality. Gavin’s behavior really results in his lack of memories and his frustrations of being torn from his home. The people that gave him purpose have been literally taken from him and he has no way to cope other than in destructive manners to try to deal with his crippling loneliness.

It is hard to really get close to him at first; he usually brushes people off with contempt or if he doesn’t like the way they present themselves he might chose to be more violent. It may be best to approach Gavin calmly if you are determined to get near him at all. If there is a chance that someone has gotten close enough to the man he will treat them with friendship. Anything further doesn’t seem to be possible; he is not willing to open up that part of him anymore.

Despite being a barbarian he isn’t stereo-typically dumb or uneducated. He received a full education and is actually fairly intellectual. While he isn't concerned much about portions of history and literature, he can read and write. He does know good share of health-science and anatomy and knows how to still suture wounds and set broken bones, though he currently doesn't know any healing moves and is limited in some knowledge about plants. Usually he uses his knowledge and cunning in more destructive forms and ways to get one ups on other people. If he was more motivated and in the right mindset he could easily become a knight or a more respectable member of society.

While Gavin is a rather jaded individual that doesn't give a damn about most people he is starting to come around more as of late. Growing restless of keeping hidden due to his criminal past he is taking the chance of Renova's new structure to be an invitation to explore. He may not be the most friendly person but does have a childish charm to him.

History:

Gavin's life has been filled with many ups and downs; maybe a little more than most people. He grew up in a family where he was not treated too much love, neglected and seen more like a burden than a son. He lived in his family home until he was teenager, often forced to stay in his room and not allowed to leave the house. This was due to the fact he was a child seen as a blemish to the family name, it would have been better if he had died or never been born.

The stress and abuse weight heavily on him, only seemingly got worse the older he became until finally could not live there anymore and took matters into his own hands. He set the family house ablaze in the dead of the night and escaped, never being seen or heard from again. He made sure it would be hard to track him down because he changed his name and his appearance.

He spent a few years learning about the outside world and slowly getting his bearings on what was acceptable behavior amongst society and what was frowned upon. Anything he enjoyed that was seen as immoral he kept to himself, burying it down and wouldn't like people know he did enjoy seeing people's pain. Eventually he was able to create himself a good mask, a disguise that held back what made him unusual in some people’s eyes. Instead he became friendly and helpful, someone that was able to make friendships and slip past people's view to be cautious near.

Amongst the friendships he gained he no other was quite as close to that he had with another roguish type by the name of Kale. Another soul who seemed to understand Gavin better than most, a person that he could be open with and not hide behind pained smiles and false laughter. Yet it wouldn't last forever. Kale had been a ruthless and reckless man, he was hunted down for his crimes and thus was killed alongside his love, Yoshikuni. Gavin was left in grief and never quite recovered from the pain of losing someone closer to him than his own family.

Even when things changed around him, and he was no longer with-in his home he carried these scars in his heart and slowly began to change. He became a horrible man, angry and fierce. He became a creature more like his old friend, full of pain and loneliness. All he wanted in the end was to make his friend's killer pay and once he found a man similar to the one that killed Kale he sank his fangs in an never let go. This poor man was Brenton Rayburn and to this day he still torments him, only keeping him alive so he will never be rid of the pain much like Gavin isn't rid of what lingers in his own heart.

Yet it never seemed enough, he hated the world around him and how it continued to go on in such a ideal fashion. So when he got the chance to side with the god of war he took it and embraced it. He became a deserter of Renova's morals and ally of Kain's. He continued to stay by the Lugia's side, forced into as much after committing treason to the island. Eventually their relationship blossomed into more and he found himself wanting to stay more at the god's side than just an ally. Yet it wasn't until he was caught by Brenton and sentenced to death by Cavone, the old civilian god, did they realize their true feelings for one another.

He rose from the ashes of his own body to be born again a ghost, now able to linger ever by an immortal's side but he doesn't feel as strong as he once had been. Since his death he has taken to staying in Kain's hideout for longer periods of time. Only recently with the shift in Renova's reality has he decided to shade himself off and start anew. His newest quests await and he will be one to explore what Renova has to hold.

Since the first time that Gavin ever met Scree, the familiar has been dead silent. This still remains the same; Scree has still yet to utter a single sound or word. Even telepathically Gavin and the Levanny don’t speak to one another. Whatever is going on in Scree’s head is a complete mystery, even his expressions are usually on the side of blank.

While he is completely mute, Scree is also meek and doesn’t like to get into any sort of violence unless Gavin is in trouble. The familiar is fairly shy and doesn’t like being around large groups of people. He is very caring towards those that his other half gets along with, especially their familiars. Scree does have a playful streak too but is often unwilling to play with others unless he feels safe.

Scree often feels like a lot of what his counterpart does is bad and doesn't agree with Gavin's methods. There are times where Scree will hang behind and make sure that the person is okay until help arrives.

He is still a horrible cook, Gavin has gone back to mostly eating raw food and simply prepared meat aka cooked over a fire with little else. He still has a sweet-tooth but it has calmed down greatly since his death and takes more to eating meat than anything else.

Despite his smaller size and weight Gavin is strong and can carry a large grown man on his own.

He is a sadomasochist, board line sociopathic. He will stop at nothing to hurt someone if he so wishes, getting onto his bad side is strongly discouraged because he likes to play with his victims than to kill them.

Gavin has lost a lot of body weight due to becoming a ghost. He is mostly made out of an ash-like compound and mystical fire that rages on inside him at all times. He is safe to touch usual and feels life-like but very warm.

The feathers that he got from Brenton before the knights death are now gone, they got burned in the pyre during Gavin's execution. They have been replaced with ones from Kain's wings.

While he and Kain have somewhat of a relationship, they don't seem to verbally say much about it other than they both are possessive towards one another.

He has the ability to float when he feels like it but often prefers to still walk, but when his leg starts to bother him he does take to keeping his weight off of it. To get higher in the sky or go great distances he has to use his wings to fly.

He no longer has an visible scars on his body, yet he still suffers from wounds, especially ones he sustained before his death because they never got a chance to heal.

Any injuries he gets now do not bleed but still do damage to his body and he can feel pain but it often is numbed unless its a super-effective move, especially water moves.

Gavin can't touch water anymore without it causing him pain.

Being a vengeful hungry spirit, he is ravenous and often eats primarily raw meat. The closer to the time it was killed the better. Be careful too, he might try to take bites out of people when angry.
