Description
This may or may not be a subtle or not so subtle message to those who pester me about animating.
I've yet to actually have a drive to animate things, save for this, which is based off of a gif I saw on tumblr by an awesome person known as Raybee/Rayna; here is the original animation!
I just know it is possible for me to do at least little things like this (only 13 drawn frames) and for now that's all I need. I wouldn't anticipate more. Just thought the original gif was quite cute and thought it'd be neat to make it into my pokesona.

Aaahh, about 2-3 hours i think. THere's a lot of inconvenient fiddling to do with layers and everything that takes longer than drawing it all.

this is probably the saddest thing i have said here.. i dont even remember the last time i talked to a female. i think i am turning insane.. Β however you are wrong the accseptebale laugh at a small gif if something falling on it's face is a chuckle to a mild laugh okay, not laughing loud crying and nearly choking on drool. tasty info right? bottom line is, animation is awesome!

Oh my gosh, I could watch this over and over... every time his belly hits the ground it's like I hear this "plop" in the distance. Just the way he flops over is the best thing I've ever seen.
But I feel you man, I don't even really have the patience to learn doing something beyond 3 frames or so. This actually isn't a bad attempt AT ALL though, and you added your own flair to it that isn't seen in the original reference like the cute expressions he makes as he's falling and and jacket flying along with him. I would love to see you animate more, even if it isn't your cup of tea.
... is it bad that I'm still obsessed with watching this cycle?

Hmm, I'm not sure it's a patience thing, but more of a I don't have the energy for it. (Though if I ever have to work more than 20 frames I'd probably grow impatient myself. xD)
Thanks! I thought it would be lame for me to forgo the jacket and such; it may be hard to notice but his glasses also kinda jump up as he hits the ground.
It wasn't bad, I think I enjoyed doing it, but then again I had something to reference from and trying to figure out movements for the next frame where there wasn't a reference of, such as the jacket and glasses, was a new challenge.
It could be possible I do more in the future. I just don't see it being a regular thing.
