I made this a couple of days ago for an art challenge I still have to post in. The theme is to digitally reproduce a masterpiece, so of course I went for something easy to recognize, almost banal, with my fae twist, because I am lazy and can then reuse this same picture for my p&p project.

The story behind the original painting kind of fits with the p&p, down to the culturally appropriating clothing Vermeer dressed the girl into.

And the eyebrows are there because, I dunno, years of styling my own eyebrows has warped my idea of what should be atop my eyes o:
