Description
I should quickly point out this was actually my first attempt with super sculpey firm and is probably about a year old, done long before I started treating sculpey and mixing it with regular sculpey (big thanks to all those who shared advice on who to use sculpey more affectively, I owe you all a big pat on the back). So anywho, what happened here was a "slight" miscalculation with the hand powered blow torch I own (it can be used to cook an area so if you touch it later it won't smudge or have finger print markings in it).
Here's what it looked like BAB (before accidental burning).

This is so cool and scary at the same time.

Hmm I do see what you mean now. Maybe getting a heat gun instead of a blow torch would be better? It still achieves the same effect but I think it might be slightly less prone to roasting your sculptures Poor little dino chap.

It is! This is the one I use [link] and am very happy with it. It is very pink though.

Lol it sure is... maybe a paint stripper gun like this [link] would be a bit more suited, I'm not sure how much hotter they get than the crafty heat guns. But at least they're not pink

I could always get the pink one and then paint over it.

To bad it got burnt, it is a really nice sculpture. Do you paint before or after you cure your sculptures?

Maybe you have been hungry while working on it and your mind told you to just burn it a bit more! Yummy dino-lizard-whatever-steaks!

A very suitable name for the burner.
