The only problem is that I can't sing and I don't have the equipment for it.

You could just mess around with instruments. I made a really awesome song on an Acoustic Guitar a couple of weeks ago, but uh....I can't remember how to do it anymore...I could for a couple days, and everyone liked it that I knew of.
So, music is just a fun past time, whether you're good or bad, so long as you enjoy doing it.

Or you could be awesome person and not care what they think and and throw it in their face all the time. :] I did that when I was in public school. Hell, I even dressed up as Maril. On day that was no where near Halloween, or April Fools. And my neighborhood is all "GANGSTA YO!"
No one really wanted to make fun of me, because I had the nuts to go in Costume and continue as a regular day. It was so awesome that day....oops, I'm ranting. XD
